15-Minute Guided Meditation for Calming Anxiety & Overthinking
Trail notes
If your mind has been racing, replaying conversations, or worrying about what might happen next, this 15-minute guided meditation is designed to help you slow down and reconnect with the present moment.
Through gentle breathwork, grounding, body awareness, and calming visualization, you'll be guided through a practice to help ease anxious thoughts, interrupt overthinking, release tension, and create space for a greater sense of calm.
You don't need any meditation experience. Simply find a comfortable place to sit or lie down and allow yourself the next 15 minutes to pause.
This meditation may help you:
- Calm a racing or overactive mind
- Interrupt spiraling and repetitive thoughts
- Ground yourself in the present moment
- Release physical and mental tension
- Create space between you and your anxious thoughts
- Reconnect with calm and self-compassion
I've experienced my own seasons of overthinking, replaying conversations, and preparing for things that haven't even happened yet. This practice is a reminder that you don't always need to solve every thought that enters your mind. Sometimes, the first step is simply giving yourself space to breathe.
Take a breath. You don't have to figure everything out right now.
